I took quick pictures before dashing out the door and later learned that my alignment leaves something to be desired. Ah, well. Who needs to see this ol' mug anyway? It's all about the shoes, people. The shoes. My blue suede shoes.
When I spied these beauties on the rack at The Rack, I tried them on and pranced around. I marveled at how comfortable they are. I dreamed of outfit combos. Then, I walked away. My inner-self asked, Do I truly need a pair of blue suede shoes? An hour later, after trying on a few pairs of Paige jeans and some summer shift dresses, I was still thinking about the lovely heels. I swooped them up and on the long walk to the checkout counter, multiple forms of self-justification sprang to mind. My inner-self shouted in my ear.
"Blue and black together is so in right now and I have more black in my closet than the stars have night," my inner-self said.
"I'm always going on about a pop of color, so why not in my shoes?" my inner-self gloated.
"I deserve these shoes for reasons I can't think of right now!" my inner-self cried.
One day and more than a few passing compliments at work later, I realized that my inner-self is so smart and wise.
I think that your Inner Self and my Inner Self must be siblings! She usually has the exact same train of thought when I'm trying to justify a purchase!

These look exactky like a pair of Louboutins that a coworker was selling for a hundred bucks. She offered them to me and, as much as I wanted them (and almost bought them), they were about a whole size too small! I was just thinking about those Loubs the other day...and now here you are wearing a gorgeous pair of the same shoe...my Inner Self is starting to whisper to me...
